It’s been ages since I’ve had time to come on here or do any sewing but thanks to the filthy weather we’re having in Kent right now I’m able to play!  So here is what I’ve made this morning

Aww they are lovely, love the sock owl and sock monkey the most so cute x

they are cute,  i like the monkey best too

i love the monkey!  i have these on my to do list but i just dont seem to get round to making them!

here a few more i made the cushion yesterday and the pump bag last week.

Well done Lilylola and Stressed, they’re all great makes.  Lovely colours and beautifully finished.

here is my latest make…

a fabric jeans tote ..embellished with
a floral fabric cat ..and flower on it’s tail
i used my Big shot and flower dies for
my flower embellish .. i matched the red bow
and the button ..

i am happy with the result and it’s on my
blog too..sorry the piccy is not good…

That’s great Lovelylorns.  Really like the cat design on it.  Well done!

I went to Covent Garden market a couple of weekends ago and there was a stall of good luck charms for putting on bags etc.  They were so cool I thought I’d have a go at making my own.  Here’s my first design.  I should have taken a pic of his back too as that’s a different patterned material.  Anyway, I hope you like him!

Hello everyone, i’m a newbie to the forum and have been checking out all the makes on line. How gorgeous they all are! I thought I’d share a couple of the makes I’ve finished during my maternity leave.I love Sew, and seem to spend all my spare time and pennies at abakhan lately!

thought i would show you all my new bag i made at a two day workshop.

i am really pleased with it.

it has three looks the basic bag and then the reversible jacket, the lady who took the workshop designed the bag so its her pattern but i chose the fabric and made it.

my photos dont do it justice the dog that looks red is actually a deep raspberry colour and the main bag is a deep mink colour, which also matches one of the dogs.

the spotty fabric has all the same colours
