Hi Everyone,

I’m Emma, i’m 26, and live in Romford Essex.

I’m a beginer in the knitting circle and am looking for knitting clubs around the area (if anyone knows of any please can you let me know).

Many thanks

Emma

Hi Emma - if you go down to the Knit Natter section of the forum there is a section there specifically for knitting clubs and if you can’t find what you want you and post a topic asking for knitting clubs in your area smile  Also in the back of the LK mag there is a section listing all the Lets Knit Local clubs grin

Razzi same for you if you haven’t found us down in the Knit Natter yet!  You will find loads of knitters and crocheters lurking around there and we do have a good laugh cheese

Hi all fellow knitters. I am new to the forum and fairly new to knitting also. We are moving to Heacham in Norfolk and desperate to find other knitters/groups or anyone willing to help me set up a new group.

Looking forward to a new life andmeeting lots of new friends.

Regards Kathy

Hi Kathy,  I am fairly new to the forum and am loving being able to chat to people and also seeing other people’s wonderful makes.

I am not far from you, I am in Dereham, Norfolk.  I have a 3 year old little boy and have been married for nearly 5 years.  I love to knit as well as lots of other crafts but knitting is what I do most.

Look forward to chatting more.

Nicola

Hi Nicola, Thanks for your reply. Do you know of any groups set up around the area. I am unsure where Dereham is in respect of Heacham. At the moment I am maddly knitting bobble hats for a group of my eldist daughters friends from school. They meet up about 3 times a year and call themselves the bobblers. Then they want mittens on elastic as they did at school. I am also doing a lovely cable jumper for my son.

Take care Kathy

Hello and welcome all you newbies, it’s great to see more people knitting. There is always somebody around here to help if you need it. Just scroll down to the Knitting SOS and post your query.
The more new knitters the better so the art will never die out.

Hi, I’ve just bought my first copy of Let’s Knit and have been knitting for a grand total of 3 weeks smile  I’m doing okay on my k4 p4 scarf and hoping to pluck up the courage to change to a different colour wool.

Just wanted to say hi as I’m sure you’ll see me around asking lots of newbie questions.
