I just love playing with lots of different things. My favourite at the moment is die-cut decoupage, especially where they twist, or they can go inwards and outwards, making two of the same image but different, if you know what I mean.
I like looking at card magazines, and websites, but can only use them at wor, so have to be careful how long I spend upon it.
I also love going to demonstrations in places like The Works, The Range and Hobbycraft, and going to the NEC to see the big show.
I am still trying to pluck up the courage to post some of my cards on this website. My husband has just got a digital camera, and has been experimenting with putting some photos onto his computer via his USB stick. So I will have to get him to help me.
Cardmaking saved my sanity after I had a nervous breakdown two years ago, and I have arthritis in my knees, ankles, and feet, so am usually in pain. I do like to sit and fiddle with all sorts of “pretty things”. I am a sucker for lovely paper, and card.

My kids and I have recently been enjoying Kirigami pop-up cards. They been wonderful gifts and we’ve also created groups of cards and connected them all together to make pop-up books. This write their own stories to go along with the cards. We started using templates we found online, by searching “easy cut pop-up” and we found this wonderful site. I was really surprised how easy it was. We’ve gotten pretty good now and started creating our own designs. We love it!

Loving my Big shot and Tim Holtz dies at the moment, going to make a card for my friend’s birthday tomorrow, like me, she’s a metalhead so the heart and the metal findins dies come in very handy at the moment.  I love using indian handmade papers as well, also I love vinatge papers…. I’m bit of a colour junkie as well.

Definately decoupage.  I have loads of the stuff and love it.  Doen’t have to be a specific type I just love the 3d effect on my cards.

The other thing I love is shaped cards - easel cards, bird house card, round or hexagon shapes - some i’ve tried, others are on my things to do.  A shaped card really make even a very simple theme stand out and look great.

Im also very much into Decoupage, and I like to see those designs used with the different shaped embossing boards.
Interesting ways of making a card too e.g. interesting folds and projects that arent the norm :D

I’ve gone off decoupage as it costs extra to post out. Loving foiled stuff for Xmas just now though.

I’m really loving the whole distressing and vintage thing but I do find the Tim Holtz products really expensive.  I have all 36 of the distress inks which are average priced but the accessories are a bit too much.  I love house mouse and LOTV stamps.  I love any kind of pretty papers - I really like DCWV and K&Co;.  Nitwit downloadable papers are also fab but I’ve resisted buying any (yet)!  I think square cards will still be more popular than rectangular cards.  I’m not a big fan of stampin’ up stuff too as they tend to lean towards the clean and simple approach - I’m more of a throw everything at it kind of kind! Lol.  I tend to do similar stuff to Bev Rochester (but I did before I knew about her so I’m not copying Lol)
