big surprise Oh is it out now, thanks Aims. I have been waiting for that one. Will have to nip to Tesco before the washing machine is delivered this afternoon. Does anybody know if Morrisons stock it? As that supermarket is much nearer.

Hi, I'm a lefty with the old crochet hook and I keep getting the instructions muddled up 'cos I have to reverse them. Does anyone know where I can get instructions for left-handers?

There are lots of sites that do instructions for left handed crocheters.
Just google & find the site best for you.
Sorry, I don't know how to do links to others sites!
Hope this helps

Have you tried Debbie Stoller's happy hooker? Its an excellent book! I learnt to crochet when I was 11 but up until about 6 months ago could only make very basic squares but made a filet crochet cardi for my mum and am doing a freeform butterfly now, but would still be on squares without it. Not sure if that helps at all? xx

Once you've made your chain Stacey do not join the chain into ring!
insert the crochet hook into the third chain from the hook & make a dc, continue dc all along the chain until you get to the end. (You insert the hook through two hoops of each chain).
At the end make 3 chains (this will be your first dc on the following row) turn your work & dc in each dc to the other end (inserting the hook through the top two hoops again).
If you google crochet instructions you'll find a lot of sites actually do video tutorials.
Hope this has helped a bit Stacey.
Good luck
