I got mine about 18 months ago and they were still called putty rubbers.  Just googled it and came up with Windsor and Newton (with some sites that sell them),  they make them and on the box it does say: Putty Rubber.

I think that the computer and the internet is a really useful craft tool for beginners to experts, useful for chatting on craft forums, useful for ordering all your goodies that hopefully are delivered when hubby is out. Really useful for inspiration, and great for downloading papers and other great templates etc

smileOh thanks soo much for this. I was coming online to post just this very question! GR8.
Ohh any tips for crafting on a budget?? It’s soo addictive and I really want to keep my costs down, but don’t want to compromise on quality. Oh yeah I was thinking of getting a card creaser- really necessary???

Hi, Glad its helping.
I have a score board, its got all the different measurements for different size folds, like a5,a4,tri-fold etc,yes very useful, use it all the time
On a budget, if you can get to a craft central or like, you can fill a box with lovely, great quality a4 card for £5.99 which is fantastic value, it is lots lots cheaper than buying packs of 10 cards and envelopes. you can get various sizes of white envelopes from leading supermarkets for under a £1 usually. The pound shop is fantastic for card toppers! And if not stretching the budget too much, try and get a black stazon, it waterproof & you can use it on all your stamps, which saves buying lots of coloured ink pads, as you can then use ordinary colouring pencils and pens which cant be again bought very cheaply, I use a pack of pencils that cost 11pxxx
