I really loved this months CB so much…and I got inspired to make a Frankenstein card. I used the template from the crafts xtra but instead of making a goody bag..I made a card using the template…I kept the card really simple.

Hope you like it smile

I could not resist the teddy in a bag shown in the November and December 2010 issues of CB, and decided that I had to make her for my 2 year old niece for Christmas.  I was quite pleased with the finished make, but think the arms are a bit long and at the wrong angle, and my sewing is not very impressive - I just hope it holds together LOL!

I’ve also posted these piccies in the knitting section of the forum.

Thanks for looking.

Love, Andrea xx

love that knitted teddy!

the frankenstein card, great fun!

here is a card i made after being inspired by an article in May 2011 issue called blooming funky. i didn’t have the stamps used in the project so rummaged through my stash and found some floral stamps. then punched out some of my own stamps using stamping foam and my Quickutz. i’m really taken with CAS cards at the moment.

Hi, I’m new to the forum, but wanted to show my card inspired by Collette Smith’s Bloomin’ Funky cards in the May issue. I hadn’t got the same stamps, but found flowers and a circle amongst my other stamps, and played with my new inks!
I gave this card to my son this morning before he starts his SATs. He was obviously pleased as it went straight to the centre of the mantlepiece! Hope that it brings him luck. smile

Loved the make do and mend paper with the recent issue of CB which inspired me to make this card.
