It was my birthday in January and my SIL treated me to some Amazon vouchers - yay !!! The above is what I've spent them on.
Super Crafty & Bizarre Bazaar are off the wall kind of books but have some interesting projects and some crazy ones too, so are good fun.

Sublime Stitching - oh my it's lovely. Not only does it have a fab section to learn or refresh your embroidery skills it has loads of embroidery transfers in lots of styles, really lovely stuff and they can be used up to 9 times each !!! Can't wait to get stuck in.

Hi Twiggy, what kind of projects or techniques are in the 'Super Crafty & Bizarre Bazaar'. It is difficult to find craft books in bookshops - and buying them blind is not ideal at all .

So any hints would be much appreciated.

Well they are both pretty surreal and I bought them with some Amazon vouchers, so didn't get to look at them before buying. I prefer the Super Crafty one as the other one though fab is really Bizarre.
Bazaar Bizarre has projects such as soap making, bird prints, clip on hair extensions,make your own playing cards, vinyl cuffs - you get the picture

Super Craty - Has the old fave - sock monkeys (BB also has these),super cool appliques, bejewelled bauble purse (fab bead encrusted handbag), oilcloth placemats, shrines. fertility shrines !!!!, luggage tags, daisy covered roller skates, scarey clothes for your dog - my guinea pig looks worried - lol cards, belts, tote bags, car curtains - would look fab in my family estate - tee hee

So as you can see pretty out there stuff, but very funky. I'm looking forward to having a go at a few bits and the books are fun to read, with little biographies of the contributors.
