I think it would be good to have a calendar too, it would mean we could check the dates for receipt of swaps easily. I also think it would be easier to sort out if instead of a poll the host chose the topic for the swap then they just have to post a list of swappers and amrk off when received before posting out the swaps.

Whilst the appreciation section is great I think it would be better if we had a single post to post our thanks in. For example ATC Swap Thanks, we could then all post who’s we’d received with our thanks on this thread and it would save people trawling through losts of thank you threads to see if their’s are there, especially with so many different swaps going on each month.

i too think it would be a great idea to have a calendar, so we all konw what is due and when easier.  i have like a few others not received swaps even when mine have gone in good time, i sometimes pm the person to thank them, i havent worked out how to post pictures of my swaps received, but as soon as i do i will be posting them on.
it is after all only good manners to say a quick thank you on the forum.
i would be willing to try hosting a swap next year, if i can get advice from the moderators on how to do this,
hopefully my health will be better next year

Would it be psossible in the redesign to have a separte section for the crafty swaps on the next level up - (like the crafty community level? IYSWIM) - then within the Crafty Swaps section there could be one section for ATC swaps, one for bookmarks, one for cards etc etc and then probably a miscellaneous swap section too - that way there should be less chance of the recent swaps disappearing three pages back?

Perhaps then the stickies would be able to be moved into the relevant section too adn so there would be more room on the front page - there are only three unstickied messages at the moment

Yes I noticed this Eve, it is now down to two, which does make navigating hard, could the how to be combined with the host lists on the stickies and then all the information is on one page that you click onto, such as the atcs host list and information, rak list and what is a rak etc. It would be so much easier if it was either on a month or on as Eve has said the bokmarks, atcs, etc.

I agree that would be an excellent way of organising the posts.  It is sometimes quite hard to find them how they are now.

I think HQ said they will look into it at a later date,
they are very busy with the party at the minute ladies xx

could you do a seprate board for those of us who have unwanted stash e.g presents etc to swap in as a direct swap
