They are no problem to use.
You just need some acrylic blocks big enough to support the stamps you have bought. They self cling, so no glue needed and they peel off again afterwards.
as everyone before me has said, they should just stick themselves and then peel straight off. They are fantastic, I only have 3 different sized acrylic blocks but have hundreds of clear stamps so they save so much on space .
The space saving was one of the reasons I was so up for trying these out! I tried them (just on some scrap paper) this morning and I am very impressed! I got a kit with 3 different sized blocks in and they should be big enough to hold everything I want them to!
Can’t wait to get looking at other actual stamp parts now!
I’m looking forward already to seeing what stamps you have and how you get on with them, Katie.
I can’t wait for your ‘makes post’
I have Dovecraft stamp bits, I can’t wait to play with them, I might even have a look in the craft shop in town this morning and see if she has any more on offer! I’ll prob play with it a bit later today!
In the event you ever get stamps that are not self cling, don’t spend money on a can of spray adhesive type stuff just use a pritt stick instead; it works a treat
I’ve got loads of self cling stamps, they are easy to use, and easy to clean. I usually bung them in some washing up liquid and water, it also helps them to ‘cling’.
I love clear stamps, infact I have just had some delivered today but they went to my parents house so I am gutted plus we’re going away for the weekend so will not see them until tuesday at least :(
I clean mine with washing up liquid in a bowl of warm water so I don’t have the fear of one of the little ones going down the plug hole! I have already lost a butterfly in my guitar…dont ask, I dont know how it got in there and it aint coming out any time soon apparently!
