It’s a bit dull and rainy here today but nothing out of the ordinary, not planning much although I have to think up something for the youth club…any suggestions of something easy to make inside about 25 minutes????

or bigger style origami to begin with?
hair bands with added decoration eg crochet flowers?
Got a few things to organise today, so must get on!

I like the hairband idea Kate, but I cant crotchet, I do have some felt circles handy that could be adapted in the future!
I think what I’m going to do tonight is actually just let them have a play with some crafty stuff…I have quite a few wooden back stamps and lots of inks so maybe I’ll dump them on a table with a lot of scrap paper and let them experiment for a change!
Been and done the food shop & it took me longer than I thought, so I’ll start the craftroom shortly

Claire you say you have loads of felt circles why don’t you get them to make flowers out of them, I did a flower hair accessory out of felt circles my neice is always wearing it, it’s in other techniques section if you wanna look.

Yes Claire have been run off my feet as usual. Been a busy day again but the pressure is off now. Most orders away now and I’m just pleased to have my kitchen back. Ava wanted to bake this morning but had do say no as we had no room and it would have been too much for me!
Really fancy baking now though but need to cook a large pot of soup!

Got done what I wanted today.
Hubby was out to see a friend, so I got to finish his Valentine card.
Really difficult when he is home, cause he keeps popping in to craftroom
and I keep an ear open for him coming and just hope I can hide it in time!
Was hoping to digitise some slides, but can’t remember how the machine works!
Just popped on for a few minutes. Had a long day today as up very early to go to hospital for tests. I had to wait for the results, but everything is fine, so I can relax now. SO tired, but another early day tomorrow as I have to go for more torture, oops, sorry, acupuncture and massage, but it feels like torture. Never mind, my leg’s improving, so it must be doing it some good. Haven’t even had time to make a Valentine card yet, so will have to start that soon.

Inks and stamps went ok, but I forgot that teenagers lack the basic sense to not use the same stamp for 5 different colours so therefore I now have a few messed up inks but I had brought fairly old ones so not a major disaster!
I didnt get up to too much today, a bit of tidying, a bit of crafting (next project nearly done now), watched a bit of Downton that Hubby had downloaded and then got the kidlets from school.
I’ve just found an email from a local church asking me to come and do a demonstration , so I’ll have a wee think about that tonight and give her some ideas in the morning when my brain works better!
