Tailors dummy recommendations

Hello all

I am new to sewing (unless you count GCE work umpteen decades ago ) and would like recommendations for a tailors dummy so that I can attempt to make dresses that actually fit, as opposed to dresses that match the pattern size but dont work on me.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Hi all scrappers out there

I really love crafting and scrapping a lot, I also love that I’m a mermaid.^_^
As I’m disabled and not aloud to work, i have a lot of time for my hobbies ^_^ but that also means I’m on a very small budget for all of it. x_x
I’m also a seamstress that likes to make outfit for my BJD’s, my friends and myself. ^_^ That makes that I have a lot fabrics, ribbons, laces, buttons, ... that I like to swap or put into a RAK together with a lot of other nice stuff. ~_^

Bright Blessings to everyone!

I just dropped by to say hello.
I’m new to the forum and the website, and have only just started buying magazines and I’m loving them all.

I’m in my mid thirties and have 3 kids.

I’m an all round crafter and will try just about anything, this is sometimes a blessing, and often a curse as I never really get to fully master anything.

I have ME and arthritis in my hands and as a result I am often not up to doing much, and for 10 years all I have done is cardmaking. But as my young daughter and her freinds are now getting into sewing and knitting etc, I have found she is inspiring me to do more.

And so the sewing machine is back out as are the knitting needles and crochet hooks, but as I haven’t done anything since I was a young teen myself I feel like a complete begginer, I thought it would be like riding a bike, but it’s not! I sat for half an hour looking at the knitting needles unable to remember what to do!

However, I picked up issue 37 of let’s get crafting knit and crochet for my daughter and here I am.

Hi All!

I’m in my mid 20s, married with no kids (Picture of me and My hubby) below, I care for loads of people suffering with Severe Learning Disabilities and Brain Damage, so they are my adopted family. I’m a proper retro, kooky, girly kinda lady and have miles and mile of smiles and personality. I love people and sadly sometimes it gets the best of me as not all people are nice! I’m committed to making all the people I meet in my life feel special, happy and good about themselves. There is way to many Nasties around, so one more good person is definitely always a bonus. I am a jack of all trades, I try everything but never really master anything!

I look for like minded individuals who just adore creating something out of what appears to be nothing to some! Life is full of wonderous hobbies to sit in front of the Television night after night and watch some lousy soap, no offence to soap lovers out there!

I have learnt to Crochet, Cross Stitch, Jewellery Make including making beads, I can generally sew quite nicely and enjoy making fabric bags etc….....I want my home to be filled with wonderous handmade goodies for the eyes to drool over! I am always looking for tips and new hobby crafts to try! So please, if you no anything amazing, and think its worth a go, do please indulge me in your crafty no how.
