Hi everyone!

It’s the new year and we bet that there are quite a few of you who have made a resolution to reduce your stash. Here at HQ we like to be useful so the theme of the next challenge is stash-busting! The project can be as large or small as you like but must be made using a yarn or several yarns that you currently own. We’d also love to know how long that yarn has been in your stash, come on, it’s confessional time!

The winner will receive some lovely goodies.

The closing date is 13th February at 5.30pm UK Time. One entry per person please. Entries can include multiple items that are part of a set, although size will not be taken into consideration when judging. Your item can be knitted or crocheted, using any yarn you like. Ideally projects should be made specifically for this challenge. When you’ve finished, just post a picture on this thread, there’s no need to send it in.

We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Good luck everyone

I understand that you have to book a slot at the zoo if you want to go and see them,
there is so much interest.
So come on and see what you can create
papercraft, jewellery, knitting, sewing, cooking
Not sure what the prize will be yet,

Looking around my own crafty table which is not showing any of these signs of decluttering has given me an idea…...

I have a copy of a lovely book called ‘Sew Darn Cute’ by Jenny Ryan (unfortuately my lack of skill wtih needles and thread render it useless to me). This book is therefore being offered as a prize to the person who posts a true life photo of their craft area and is crowned the owner of the ‘messiest craft area’ by me!!!!

Get those camera’s at the ready…...
