The Living Crafts for Christmas Fair is coming to the magnificent Blenheim Palace this year and is a 'must-visit' for any Chrisrmas-loving crafter.
From the 21st to the 23rd November, around 100 of Britain's best crafters will fill chandelier-lit pavilions selling a splendid variety of new and exciting gifts for all the family, at a range of prices. Many of the exhibitors will even personalise a gift and accept commissions, guaranteeing a truly original present.
The talent this year is set to be outstanding, with a professional array of crafty creations across the board. The event will be a great place to pick up pressies, get ideas for your own makes or simply enjoy a fun day out with the family before the big day.
The experience will begin with welcoming hot drinks available before entering a fully-carpeted and heated pavilion, filled with carefully handcrafted treasures. This opens onto the Great Court where colonnades will be adorned with glistening Christmas trees and twinkling lights. For many this will be the perfect opportunity to visit Blenheim Palace, which will be decked out in all its glory.
A second pavilion will hold the ever-popular festive food and drink sampling area, where you can try before you buy! There are traditional hand-rolled pies and pastries with fruit and savoury fillings, flavoured cheddar and homemade honey, as well as a full range of delectable deserts.
Gardening author and TV personality, Sarah Raven, will be there signing copies of her new book, as featured on page 26 in the December CB.
