Support the Yorkshire Rainforest Project
Do something special this year and support Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate and their pledge to save 1.5 million hectares of rainforest - an area the size of Yorkshire - from destruction. We've teamed up with the makers of the world famous cuppa, Yorkshire Tea, to raise vital funds for their rainforest project in Peru, with your crafty help!
All you need to do is decorate a plain cotton bag with your own design and send it to the Yorkshire Rainforest Project. Your carrier will be sold and the money raised will be donated to the project. Plus, the winner of the best designed bag will receive a fantastic Taylors of Harrogate hamper, a year’s supply of Yorkshire Tea and a Texture Boutique from Sizzix!
The project will provide the Ashaninka community with essential training to resist those looking to exploit the forest's rich resources, help families make a living by developing small-scale sustainable livelihood, and improve health and nutrition.
