Another bag and more .....

Stitched up and put the lining in bag no. 3 and also made a ladies' beanie, a caterpillar (that's Dark's fault for asking for the pattern :-) but a good stashbuster) and I've made a start on my Christmas knitting :cheese:

The free pattern for the mini Christmas stocking is from Little Cotton Rabbits and is available for personal use or charity fundraising.

Goose, every bag I make is different and I rarely write out the patterns, but for you I'll try to remember what I did with this one :-)

 

I used 4 strands of yarn - 3-ply deep purple, 4-ply pale lilac, pink DK and pink multi bouclé DK

 

Cast on 15 sts on 10mm needles and stst 10 rows

Change to 12mm needles

Next row: *K1f&b to last st, K1 (29sts)

Stst 18 rows

Cast off 3 sts at beg. of next 2 rows (23 sts)

Work 10 rows

Cast on 3 sts at beg, of next 2 rows

Stst 18 rows

Next row: K1, K2tog to end (15sts)

Change to 10mm and work 10 rows stst. Cast off.

 

Handles measure 12cm across (10cm bar)

Bag measures: 20cm (H) x 28cm (W at base) x 8 cm (D)
