What is the longest time you have taken to complete a knitting project?

Recommended Posts

Oh you should deffo sew it up Squeakie, you can always send it off to Postpals or some other charity and some grateful child will get to play with it, a much nicer prospect than grampa dumpty sitting in your knitting bag for another 2 years! :)

I started knitting a matinee set for my friend's baby, she's 14 now, it's still not finished. I've moved since so don't even know what happened to pattern and wool. UFO's are the story of my life.

I knitted a lovely yellow jumper for my daughter when she was about 3-4 years old but never got round to sewing it up. She's 22 now, but the jumper is finally finished and being worn by HER 3 year old daughter! :-)

At least that's one FO to tick off my (l-o-n-g) list of UFOs :-S
