Second Hat - UPDATED TO ADD THE PATTERN

Recommended Posts

Thanks girls.

Jennie blackberry stitch is very easy and very effective, it also makes the band on the hat really snug.

Helen and Angel it is worked over an even number of stitches:

Row 1. Purl

Row 2. P1, *p3tog, (k1,p1,k1) all into the next stitch (now called 3 out of 1) rep from * to last st, P1

Row 3. Purl

Row 4. P1, *3 out of 1, p3tog rep from * to last st, P1

That's it! Give it a try :)

Oh love the hat - looks good enough to eat :-)

I'm with the others on this, if its done in boyish colours I think the blackberry stitch will be fine - think I will have to give it a go too :)
