    Creating Neat Dreamcatchers

I've started learning how to make dream catchers and I think they look so nice but, the cackhanded style is chic and shabby however, I want to make a cleaner, neater dream catcher. I have tried wax string, yarn and parcle yarn but, I can't seem to get it even, tight and neat. Does anyone have any tips?

    Help for Final Year Project

Dear All, I am a current student at Nottingham Trent University working of my final year piece. I am a part time crafter and enjoy making jewellery in my spare time, however I have noticed that it is really hard to find specialised craft furniture in the current market. Crafting is definitely on the boom and there are many people that love to craft from home but don't have the space or equipment. Currently from my primary research I have realised that the current furniture offered doesn't include much storage or adjustable working space. Could you possibly answer the questions below to help me understand the workspaces of a full time crafter and a hobby crafter? If there is anything that you feel I have missed and haven't asked please do not hesitate to comment. Please share around as the more crafters who answer the better my research will be and the more practical the final product will be. Thank you and best wishes.

    Introducing myself

Hi Everyone, I thought I would put my feet up, relax and introduce myself and my new business that I am trying to get off the ground. My name is Laura. I am a self supporting artist/designer. I have been involved in art all of my life. As a child, I loved to draw so much that if I had a pencil in my hand, I would draw on the walls of my bedroom, even my bathroom. Of course, my parents did not like that! As a business, I want to bring Artist, crafters and buyers together in an auction marketplace format where there are no listing fees. I also want the artists to keep more of the money they earn! All the best, Laura

    Bottle Stoppers

Hi folks, As a new crafter I have recently been doing altered bottles, decoupage bottles and would like to top them with a fancy bottle stopper. I have bought a couple of cheap bottles from Dunelm Mill that had a little glass/acrylic bird stopper which is ideal. However, Ive been trying to locate a website that I can purchase these from and so far have no luck. Can anyone suggest one please. When I look on Pinterest etc there are loads of bottles that have fancy stoppers but I can't seem to locate a supplier. Regards Chrissy

    DIY Key Fob from Ribbon!

Hey guys, Here is a fun project you can do with your driving teen, or for your own personal use. Start with sewing the ribbon design to whichever style of key fob material you want. Next take the Key Fob hardware and ensure it sites flush with the ribbon. Take an extra ribbon or cloth to cover the hardware when clamping together to keep from marking up the metal. The finish product is fun and very useful! Here is the Full Tutorial Video

  12. Hello crafters, It's that time of the month again where we ask you what your favourite project from the March issue is! Personally, I think mine might have to be the beautiful garden party resin jewellery from Helen Cant. I think it's absolutely lovely! Though it's always so hard to choose between all of these amazing projects.... So, what would you say your favourite was? Jec

    Handy Crafts Workshop

Hi Everyone, My mum has just opened a new shop full of her wears, it would be lovely if you could have a look and share with friends.
  14. Lately I wrote a new blog post in my general blog(Home and Life) where I have described about different types of handicrafts, craft articles made from eco friendly jute fiber. There are lots of jute made handicraft articles which can be used in home or workplace for decoration purpose. The plus point with these craft goods is that they are fancy, eco friendly and are available in different colors. As I can't paste that very blog post here due to duplicate content problems, so if you want to read that post then you can do it here.
