  1. Knitting Mummy

    Monday

Congratulations Susie & now DH. I hope you all had a lovely day and best wishes for your future happiness. I don't often post but I do still read. I am rarely awake long enough to do both. It must be the year for weddings, my ex husband is getting married next month. My daughter is doing bridesmaid. It is supposed to be a quiet wedding but tbh I have never heard so much fuss being made of a quiet wedding before lol. From what the kids say they can't wait until it is all over. Then a month later they have to do it all again for a wing ding in the local pub for the rest of the village who weren't invited lol. Anyway my youngest son has finally managed to get a job after so many non replies to applications, letters, emails etc. So I am up early for the first few days to make sure he gets up ok. Keep crafty H.

Oh I will have to try a tension square then (I rarely do) but it might be useful on this occasion. Thank you for the heads up.

This is lovely Annie, I got this very yarn in the same colour as you for part of my birthday present last week Annie. The pattern I got was a lacy top. Can I ask was it nice to work with? I am looking forward to trying it but it is packed away until I get building work completed in my kitchen I couldn't link it on Ravelry though I am guessing because it is just new.

Thank you Crafty Nannie and everyone else for the nice comments. I was worried that the jumper might not fit because I have lost 2 stone since I last knit a jumper lol. It fits like a glove so I am really pleased with it.

I am feeling quite proud of myself in the last few days and wanted to show off a couple of finished knitted makes. Don't know if I have ever posted a pic before so hopefully it will work.

    Washing Wednesday

Hi again, I only knew it was CN birthday because mine is the same day lol. I am still knitting away, well I was until last night when I had a major disaster and had stitches slip off a needle I've no idea how it happened but they then dropped very quickly. It is bamboo yarn so just disappeared before my eyes I was in the middle of knitting a jumper in the round so have put it in my knitting bag and will look at it when I get a chance. I hope everyone had a lovely crafty day, I was out and about which was nice but a bit exhausting
