    our new additions

if you are not allergic to birds you would more than likely be ok. Homing some ex batts was the best thing I have ever done besides hatching our own chicks. The eggs are beautiful especially the bantam ones we get half the size of the larger ones and taste just gorgeous. joanne x

    our new additions

keeping chickens should come on the national health. They know when you need cheering up and love you no matter what. I have kept chickens since august 2010 having fresh eggs far better than the supermarket. believe it or not supermarket eggs are a month old when you buy them. Your own taste so much nicer. I have had my ex batts nearly 12 months one of which has stopped laying now bless her and is the friendliest most sweet natured creature loves cuddles and kisses and pecks at my legs for me to pick her up. You would never believe it if you had seen them at first they were ferral as they had had no human contact. I am hoping for at least 3 gilrls out of the 6 and I think going off development I may be right I shall keep you posted and post more pics when they keep still long enough for me to take any joanne x
