Make Jewellery issue 16 challenge winner!

Hi all, Wow, what a fantastic selection this month, and glad to see so many different styles! It was particularly difficult to choose this month, as the standard was just so great, but I am pleased to say that the winner is Crafterga! Well done, we thought your paper bead making technique inspired by Try This! was brilliant. It has also come to our attention that pics 2 and 3 were actually placed the wrong way round, so we're glad this has not affected the outcome of your beads. Don't forget to PM me with your address so we can send out your prize! I also have a few special mentions this month, as it was so hard to decide: Paperkate for her super-glam version of Corinne Bradd's Club Tropicana necklace, MaggieJay for her funky Curly Wurly bracelet and pink puppy for her excellent bead weaving skills! Well done all and don't forget to enter our next challenge based on issue 17, for another chance to win a great beading prize! Lorraine

Make Jewellery issue 15 challenge winner!

Hi all I have really enjoyed looking through your entries this month, it's great to know which designs you are loving - and I can see that Brenda Harvey's cherry set has been popular - it's a particular favourite too! However, the design which really caught my eye is... tat1973's necklace based on our Russian Folklore cover set which just goes to show that you can make a design your own by varying the beads used. Well done (and don't forget to PM me with your address so we can send your prize on its way!). Well done everyone who entered, it really was difficult this time to decide! If you didn't win this time do not be disheartened, we will be running another challenge based on issue 16 right away! Good luck! Lorraine

Make Jewellery issue 13 Challenge Winner!

It was a pleasure to see so many different designs this month, from the pretty and glam to more edgy makes, it was a pleasure to view them all - but it was no easier to judge! However, there's one I was really drawn to and that was Gaia's fab version of Glam Rocks (p64) made with tartan beads. Definitely a statement piece, it's certainly a worthy winner of a glamour issue! Well done and don't forget to PM me with your address so I can arrange for your fab prize to be sent! Well done everyone who took part and make sure you enter our latest challenge based on issue 14, our Wedding & Special Events special. Best of luck! Lorraine

Make Jewellery issue 12 challenge winner!

As always it was a tough call, but we’ve finally come to a decision, and the winner is… maritrez for her creative interpretation of Dorothy Wood's Punk Princess ribbon set (p22). We love the colours used and the way you have celeverly used the brooch as a necklace focal! I also have to give a special mention to paperkate for mastering origami techniques to make a gorgeous pair of earrings, inspired by Flick Hall's Paper Dreams (p56)! Remember that every winner will now appear on our ‘Your Space’ page, so there's even more reason to enter! If you didn’t win this time, do not fear - we will be setting up our next challenge right away! Well done everyone who took part and maritrez don't forget to PM me with your address so I can send out your prize! Lorraine
