Birthdays are obvious occasions for exchanging handmade cards but there are plenty of other opportunities to show a friend you care. We’ve used acrylic stamps over patterned paper to create subtle effects and added texture and interest by punching and decorating pretty scallop shapes.
Get Well
Cut patterned paper to 14cm square and stick it to the front of a white 14.8cm square card blank. Make an oval in pink patterned paper using the large scallop punch. Using the 1/8" hole punch make perforations in each arch. Rub down the message in the centre.
Stamp different sized flowers on cream paper with black ink and cut around them. Curl petals as before, and mount to the oval. Mount to the card's front using a blue paper panel to highlight it.
