Trim 7cm from the top of a red blank and turn so the fold is at the top. Cut a 13.5cm x 10cm rectangle from wave patterned paper. Score five lines parallel with the shorter edge at 1cm intervals and then pleat the paper along these lines. Stick the flat section of the paper to the base of the red card.
Tape a length of wire to the back of the sun motif and push the other end into the top edge of the patterned paper. Fix the blue waves die-cut to the base of the red spotty half surf board with 3-D foam pads and attach to the card behind the last pleat.
Thread a length of red bobble chain through an anchor motif and a ‘Birthday Boy’ tag and stick the tag at an angle to the top of the card. Attach the other end of the beads to the top of the surfboard. Finish with another anchor and three life rings positioned as shown.
