well I was left with some of the chocolates cake - my son was most disappointed that he would have to eat it teehee...there wasn’t much else left but will be fine to go back on Saturday for the Farmers market.

I was a good girl and didn’t eat any!  Although I did lick the chocolate bowl!

It is the Farmers Market in Ampthill this morning - so I rushed home from work last night and made 4 orange loaves and 18 melting moments...so been a bit busy!  Also covered some little note pads for Mother’s Day.

Hmm they sound yummy - can we share the recipe?

we have a market once a week and the Farmers the last Sat of the month - so it is just this weekend that is the busiest.  I knew we had a couple of ‘bakers’ not around this week so did extra.  The Brownies are a regualr order and I can get two trays in my oven.  The loaves I put 4 in at a time.  I do have a double oven - but the top oven does cook a bit one sided so can’t cook lots of things in here.

I have sat down and eaten a piece of cake and a cup of tea! smile

I love baking cakes and other sweets things, even if my waistline disagrees!

Tonight or tommorrow I will be making a citrus poppy seed cake involving poppy seeds, oranges and lemons, natural yoghurt, mascapone and lemon curd - should be interesting!!

My fav recipes book are the Good Food ones!

Anyone else?

Did you have a look at my question ‘Pastry Dough’ in Chit Chat?  I could use some help there please if any of you are bakers - thankx.
