I love baking too.  Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle cake are two of my favourite makes but I also love making Malteser cake which is no-bake, just pop it in the fridge.

100g butter
200g milk chocolate
3 tablesp golden syrup
225g finely crushed digestive biscuits
225g maltesers

Melt together the butter, chocolate and syrup then add the crushed biscuits and the maltesers.
Mix together quickly then pour into a lined swiss roll tin and chill til set.
For a special occasion drizzle with some melted white chocolate.

Sorry I have not been around for ages - no idea where the time has gone!  Been busy updating my website with new menus etc and that has been quite a challenge!

I have just put up some chocolate fudge cupcake recipe on my blog - I made them for my Son’s birthday

Yum Yum,

Those cakes look so tasty.

I love to bake when I have the time and am on a spying task to find out the ingredients for the goodies my favourite deli sells. They sell the most delicious crispy slice which is a bit like mars bar crispie cake and their cheese scones are amazing fresh from the oven!!!!

I can`t seem to make scones mine end up half an inch thick!

Does anyone have any top tips for making scones???
