i tend to do the cakes and biscuits, the hubby does the main meals which he is excellent at.

We have a curry evening every few months and the house is always full with friends.

Thanks for the messages - I will get some bread pudding made soon and add it.  Mind you I just googled the recipe - there were so many variations to choose from...with eggs or without, suet, butter, marg or even lard.  Water soaked bread and milk soaked bread.....

Just baked choc muffins with mini marshmallows - but the marshmallows kind of boiled over - I was tempted to add a few extra and I think this may have been a mistake.  will take a pic and do the recipe!

I have just added choco rock cakes.  You can see my son is a chocoholic

grin Hungry already! and just read through some of thread,I did a lot of baking sweet kind when my girls were much younger and still at home,oh,for a bit marshmallow surprise,tiny snowballs,mmm can taste toffee!
Almond and apple ring cake,sultana,cherry,coconut cakes yummy yummy I need food in my tummy!!!
No fair,I have to cut out all sweet stuff,as since I stopped smoking put on weight,so it has to come of,but I can still dream,oh oh second thoughts better not,nay mind will still keep receipes,allowed a treat now and then.

I love baking cakes; I find it rather easy, well, if I choose a simple recipe. I especially enjoy baking cakes in the weekends because nothing tastes better than a cup of hot coffee with a freshly baked cake--while I read through my magazines or newspaper on a Sunday morning.
