Hi all, my name is Joanne and I am new to this forum. I’ve been crafting well since being about seven years old when my grandma taught me to knit. Years later I still enjoy knitting but also enjoy allsorts of other crafts. Making jewellery, cards and my current craft if you can call it that is writing.Poems, verses for my cards and a novel.
I’ve not made any cards for ages as my workshop is in my loft and i need inspiration to take myself up there. I am married with four kids eldest is 23 and the youngest is nearly 4. I love gardening, I have 5 chickens and well I’m basically a bit mad but in a nice way.
I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone on this board and sharing ideas and tips.
Happy crafting Joanne x

Hi Joanne and welocme to the forum. I am sure you will enjoy it here Your exploading boxes are gorgeous. Why not pop them in the papercrafting section You sound just like me. I enjoy all crafts and adore writing. I am also writing a book at the moment too. I am also a tad mad but unlike yourself I am not a big chicken lover. I used to like them until my neighbour bought some and after eating everything in their garden started on mine grrrrrrrrr, I love my garden and gardening. They even got into the greenhouse through a teeny weeny gap I left. Looking forward to chatting to you

Hi all, thanks alot for your replies and lovely words about my work. You’ve given me a boost. I’ve checked out the blogs and they are brilliant. I will have to get one of those. I will get the hang of this forum in time and can’t wait to swap tips and ideas. I have my fingers in far too many pies as it were having several hobbies and parts of crafting . I enjoy pergamano even though I’m still learning teaching myself how to do it and then there’s working with watercolours on cards and decoupage and then make my own jewellery and knitting. i can’t just do one thing. The bursting boxes I just love to do. They time consuming but worth it.I’m going to go up into my workshop and tidy it up cause it’s a tip. I’m not a tidy crafter and get myself inspired. I have that mush stuff I had to move up there the kitchen was being overtaken. I will put some more of my work on for you all to see. Thanks again happy craftin Joanne x x

Hi jules, thanks for that I’ve just got myself sorted now with blog, no excuse to not make something and post it on there. There’s just not enough hours in the day. Your blogs are brilliant. I’ve been on and had a look your cards are beautiful. I’ll try and find a nice picture of me to post on here. I’m not very photogenic but I’ll give it a whirl anyhow. Happy crafting and thanks again Joanne x
