I’m making a few knitted gifts, a scarf for my niece, a tea cosy for my mum and a wine cosy for my dad (hehe) - I’m also making my niece a scrapbook - well, I’m starting it off for her, decorating the cover and such so that she can carry it on - should keep me busy until xmas!

a little food hamper sounds nice.  someone mentioned on another forum about soaking cherries in alcohol and covering them with chocolate -must hunt out the post again and see if there is still time to do some.  I know my Mum would love them.

I think I’m going to attempt to knit my friend some socks, which is a big ‘maybe’ becauseI havent actually knitted a sock yet so we’ll see how that pans out!

Good luck - you will have to make sure they match - that could be tricky for a first attempt

Homemade presents are the best really - I prefer those to big expensive ones.

Better early than late Kinglake! Otherwise you’ll end up rushing things.

Clip frames are those photo frames where they do not have a frame they are glass with a hardboard back, and they are just held together with special spring clips.  IKEA and places like that tend to sell them.

here is one I decorated with paper punches

the link is here if the pic doesn’t show

Thanks for the link to the glass painting

I have 6 of these frames but never used them as they’re so boring but you have inspired me with your brill idea...2 will be for each son (2) so they can display a pic of their girlfriend another one I’ll decorate for Pepsi’s pic(my dog) hope to start tonight.
