Good afternoon all

Feeling much better today thank goodness.  Been up since 9am (good for me as didn’t finish work til midnight) cleaning and tidying the whole house.  Only have the bathroom and kitchen still to do but had to stop to come to work.

I’m making a bit effort as my best friend who I haven’t seen in ages is coming to visit with her 3year old son tomorrow and my sister is also coming to see us with her nearly 2year old daughter.  My OH and my sisters partner are escaping the kids by going fishing

Hope to do some crafting before they arrive and later when they’ve left, if i’m up to it.

Good afternoon all
I have never been logged on here so late as I am today.  I blame the fact that on top of everything else I have managed to put my back out! So here I am on my third course of double antibiotics for the dratted chest infection that won’t go away, suffering the upset stomach the said pills bring on   and now cannot sit or stand upright but have to hunch over like an 80 year old.  If I was an animal they’d put me out of my misery lol Sorry to whinge. I will stop now.

Sorry Im so late, got up late Yes it was still Morning lol been tidying my stash and getting myself organised so I could make cards… been out for Milk and Bread and came back and crafted for a couple of hours… Im now off to sort out some dinner shortly once Ive been around to posts…

Hi everyone, just got back, what a nightmare day.

It took 3 hours to get to the caravan on top of the trip to reading this morning. (would you believe we left home at 9.45 and have got back at 7.30 ?)

and the people left it like a dump! stuff everywhere, thankfully nothing was damaged, I just needed a good clean, from top to bottom.
As we took so long, the new guests turned up - which was rather embarrassing.

I am just going to have a shower then get a take away, crash on the sofa and watch a movie with stuart before he goes to work again tomorrow.

Chris i can’t belive you have done you back in, now i really an worried, please take care hun.

Oh Sarah, how terrible for you.  I can’t believe how people treat other people’s property. I always take a box full of cleaning stuff with me when we go on holiday and clean the caravan from top to bottom before we leave (we even borrow a hoover if there is not one in the caravan !).  Sometimes its cleaner when we leave than when we arrive !!  Enjoy your evening and have a good rest.

Chris - you poor love.  Please take it easy, you are obviously doing far too much.  Hope you feel better soon x

I know boots, i wouldn’t mind but there is cleaning stuff in the van and a hoover, They just left half eaten food under the sofa’s, coat hangers all of the floor. even men’s pants in the cupboards and turned all the mattresses on the floor with the duvets and lamps, it really looked like a whirl wind had gone though

Amazing how you miss the regulars when they are not on.

Have been on & off all day as took into tidying & organising[ that must be your influence, Chris, cos I bought a plastic drawer chest this morning to keep my papers in].Still have not made anything yet but maybe tonite as OH & son are going out.
Now lecture time- what did we say about you ‘lugging’, Chris. Hope that was not what put your back out!
Take it easy - don’t think we’ll put you down just yet.

I think a lecture might be well deserved. I know it sounds silly, but I keep forgetting I am ill and try to carry on as normal which is daft I know, but all I did was bend down to pick something up and as I straightened up the pain came on.  There is a Docrafts demo on at Art of Craft tomorrow but I doubt I will be up to going more’s the pity. I have a heat pad on it now which is helping a little bit

Sarah I am so sorry you had such rotten people in your lovely caravan. I hope the next lot will treat it better.  What a long and tiring day for you hunny.  You relax now with movie and takeaway and have a nice chill out evening.  You sure have earned it x

Laverne, this is the first time anyone has ever said I influenced them to be tidy!  I hope you enjoy some crafting later on.  I have looked at my stash today but not done a thing yet.

Not been around much today have been out with my DD to help her get the things she needs to do the crafts at our local holiday club in a couple of weeks, also bought som coloured raffia for myself
Have been out at a church bbq tonight and thought I would have a quick catch up on here before bed
