A scrapbook/craft shop near me is closing down. They have 50% off everything tomorrow. The whole shop is being gutted, so pretty much everything you can see is up for grabs.

It got me thinking, what would you all buy if your crafty shop had everything half price?

What would you stock up on and what tools would you buy that you would not have before?

Moved for you hunny grin

Erm, what would I buy…

Hmmm, I think I would stock up on all the things I use a lot - glue, double sided tape, sticky pads etc.

I’d also buy the things that I have been put off buying due to the price - expensive items that I couldn’t afford.

I’d buy a couple of ink pads and if they had any stamp ranges I liked, I’d buy a few of those.

12 x 12 paper - you can never have enough paper wink

erm erm erm what else?

Eyelet setter, wanted one for a while now.
Lots of backing papers, I’m a bit of a paper junky at the moment.
Some packs of cards.

Basically I’d busy twice as much as I had been planning to buy as it would cost the same my original budget anyway wink

Oooh all those things I’ve looked at,then noticed the price and put back on the shelf, plus anything that was really cheap, if it was under a pound it would have to come home with me whether I needed it or not - think of all that great RAKing opportunity wink I love a bargain, I found a bag of gems in a pound shop the other day in Leeds and when I got to the counter the lady told me it was 3 for a pound and sent me back for my other 2 packs - and I thought one packet for a pound was a good deal wink

Hi

Shop in the town nearest to me is also closing down and everything is 1/2 price so I have bought a few things I can use for the swaps, some papers, card and decoupage that caught my eye and some essentials that I use alot.

I would buy the essentials that I use all the time:

* 12x12 papers
* glue, sticky foam pads, sellotape,
* gel pens, gold and silver pens
* stamps, punches, ink pads,
* as many beads and sequins and ribbons I could get my hands on
* coloured card
* expensive tools that I would never dream of buying because they’re 50%
* decoupage (what took my fancy)
* any kits for presents/raks etc.
* things for RAKS that I know other crafters would like
* anything floral
* anything with fairies
* double sided tape (plenty of too as I use loads)

Like some of the others I would get double of some of these.
