I stumbled on a website the other day (I can’t remember where now) that showed how to use a certain type of take away container to make shrinkies. It looked pretty good. Not sure how strong the shrinkies would be though. I’ll see if I can find it......>>>

I have had problems with colours smudging too
The Sakura glitter seems to be OK like Nicola said.
I’ve also used watercolour pencils which intensify quite nicely on shrinking - no smudging either.

I had forgotten this thread and missed the replies, so permanent markers and sakura pens are good, h2os are not.  Unfortuantely I don’t have much of either!

What does everyone use for stamping?  Just permanent quick drying?

I really must do some more as I have loads of the stuff!  I have a magazine article somewhere that I kept I must dig it out.

Has anyone tried using permanent ink pads for colouring shrink plastic?
Might that work?

Hi Paperkate, I know that you can use permanent ink pads like Stazon to stamp an image onto shrink plastic. So I would assume that you could also use them to colour your motives in.

Thanks for that Scottish Lassie.
I’ll have to give it a go and let you know what happens.

HI, I have used stayz on ink, but tonight I tried an ordinary gold inkpad but noticed it smudged/flaked a little so I applied a clear ink pad all over then 2 layers of UTTE powder, I’m quite please with the result (its on black SP) as it looks a little like a dome sticker/embellishment or even a ceramic domino.  Though having read the earlier thread about the plastic type No 6 boxes I think I am going to keep an eye out, as free SP is ideal for trying out different techniques on.  Absolutly brilliant, I have only been a member a few days and already I have discovered a top tip and a money saving idea, thank you CB!

Just seen this demo’d a few times at Stamperama and the trick seems to be so move the heat source and keep turning the SP over
