wow this is really profissional but what is that powder that you add at first i really wanna learn this technique
i’ll try but i’m not sure i can find the required stuff in my country anyway thank you so much
Wow thanks for this technique. I bought loads of this stuff and just couldn’t get it to do anything? I thought i had wasted my money! I already own a low heat stylus, ( it’s an Encaustic Stylus) so i ca n try that out tomorrow!
ONE TIP????( i just thought of this?)
I have a range of tips with my stylus, including a thumb nail sized micro iron tip, SUPPOSE you do this technique with the micro iron tip, what wonderful free style effects you could achieve?
Thanks again.
Pammi
HI Pammi I still never got the hang of it, you have the proper stylus,
I got one of these battery ones, I think that is the problem,
good luck would love to see how you do hun xx
Thanks Maggie, i didn’t get round to doing it today, but tomorrow i will.
My stylus was only £24, i use it for Encaustic art, but this will be brilliant if it works with my foil? I just came back for another look at the instructions. Will show you what i achieved, when finished
Don’t know if my foil is the right sort, i bought it as hot foil BUT it won’t work like the way it does here? I am so disapointed, i really wanted mine to work?
I went realy slow with the pen tip on my stylus, and even changed the tip for the micro iron tip and left that on it for ages, but it didn’t do anything at all?
I am convinced the foil i have isn’t what was used in the photo’s? The craft shop said it was for hot foiling, it has a grey backing and they used it for their hot foiling machine so said it was top quality? I realy wanted it to work.
