why not try and start a craft group? it does not have to be formal teaching, actually the best usually start from someone with a skill being willing to share. once you meet with perhaps just four people there will be one who has a different skill. so plan on a four week session learning the new technique. the thing is for everyone to be open to try even if not initially interested.
lots of things do not cost money, like dough craft, but can be really challenging.
if the group can afford it, bring in an outside tutor for one evening(a good source is meeting a craft worker at a fair and asking them if they live locally).
am back to the uk tonight for a few weeks, but will be returning here to Greece to get organized for our September course.
(also a week in Oct. half term) can not wait to go to a craft fair again, and see an english river (even in the rain).
but i expect i will be equally glad to be back here with the sun, sea and sand. check out our web http://www.lindoscardandcraft.co.uk to see my Greek home and you will see why i would miss Greece as well.
yes, i know how lucky i am, and even look forward to the winter when it is all quiet and i spend more time on the forum, bye for now josie
