Naaa. Just makes life much more fun!

I managed to get a couple of good buys on vintage singers on ebay here. Got them for bargain prices too as they were pick up only.

What one are you looking at?

Have you seen my babies(singers) on my blog. I have lots of info on vintage machines if you want to have a peek. Here is the link to my Singer posts.

Looks like it will be a bargain. Is a beautiful machine.
My mum learnt to sew on a hand crank. Takes a bit of practice to guide the fabric and crank at the same time. LOL just thinking about it.

Good luck with your bidding!

i have too many hobbies and not enough time.

Wish i could drop one of them, but i end up adding more hobbies instead.

Good luck on the auction, i can’t believe it only starts at 99p, i had a old sewing machine given to me by a good friend, and it is hand powered.

My Mum’s got one like that, you’ll need special spools for it - long and narrow.

I’ve got my Gran’s Treadle machine, would never part with it, sentimental value. Also bought a hand machine years ago, thin I managed to leave it at Mum’s when we had a house move!

As far as crafting goes - tried my hand at most things over the years, but now just stick to papercrating.

LOL I personally think washing up and house work should be banned, as i have sooo much I want to do, you just think you have filled your addiction and you get another amgazine even even more ideas in and of it goes again!1 and its never with anything you’ve got, you always have to buy more. Im knitting, crocheting, sewing dress for dolly mixture, making journal, adding designs to t-shirts, hats and bags, then theres card making which I have now been going 3d with and qooden plaques! ...to name but a few… so in answer to your question, we dont have too many hobbies… just not enough time in the day, oh did i mention i had started jewellery making and i love making sugar flowers for cakes!1 there is only one thing which I havent wanted to doo and thats scrapbooking as I’d get soo melhloncoley looking at all the pics, could of been, should have been and my goodness why wasnt I happy with 4 stone lighter then!!

thankyou for my therapy session as a craft addict!!xxx

I can’t believe it! What a fantastic bargain.

I you have another peek through the link I gave you earlier you will find a couple of links that direct you as to finding out the model no. using the serial no. on the front of the machine. Then you should be able to download a free manual if your does not come with one. You will probably need to give the machine a basic clean and service if it has not had one for a while. The manuals give some good directions on this.

If you have any other Q’s feel free to PM or email me.
