Thanks Figgerly - that is the site I use too! smile

Hunny - I am ahead of you on that point, which is why I said I am doing the ‘preliminary’ research, but it is actually worse girls and I do believe shipping to you from out of your country is out of the question. The shipping I discussed with the Creative Express company in length two days ago. Thanks to Maggief2 to pointing their price out which was $10 less than the cheapest one I found. BUT - all companies over here are charging an exhorbiant rate of over $63.00 on top of the cost - mainly because they choose to use a Priority shipping which give insurance. If they would use only USPS First Class, it would have been only around $38 which may have been ok along with the lowest price. The sale for that $35 ended as well.

So, the better thing now is to look for a UK retailer who might be willing to help out.

I checked with Provo Craft and a retailer can only re-order if the sale is $350 minimum [wholesale * [just in case they don’t have a lot in stock] and so 10 people can easily make that for them.

Anyone outside of the UK - it is probably best to have to order yours on sale yourself just as I will have to - darn that shipping.

That will also address the custom problem too.

So, we can still go ahead and try for a group purchase in the UK and see where that leads. I will look around and anyone knows a retailer, shout it out. Keep your eyes peeled for the deals too in case one comes up that is too hard to resist.

For instance, now anyone in the US will have to look out for that $35 price again.

So, the plot thickens, but I am still trying!  Fingers crossed!

Another option (OK it wouldn’t be for bulk buying) see if any of your friends are going to the States on holiday. Ask them if they would be willing to bring you one back! Tell them how much you’re prepared to go up to.  I’m almost certain I saw them on sale in Walmart last summer for $60 mark, I’m kicking myself for not buying mine then mad

Has anyone tried Oyster Stamps yet? That’s where a lot of members on here have bought theirs from.

Read my post again, smile I said anyone going there on holiday! It wouldn’t help if they lived there, as they would have to spend a fortune sending it over too!

freehartz is in Canada anyway!

Hunny - not that someone wouldn’t mind maybe helping out one person, but they wouldn’t be able to help out everyone, that would have to be one big trunk - ha ha!

Thanks for your help PP!

I did say it wouldn’t be for ‘bulk’ buying!

I was weighing my bags this morning, and was horrified that one weighed in at 95lbs empty big surprise didn’t have my glasses on and missed the fact there was a decimal point between the 9 & 5 LOL  rolleyes

OK - back to being productive here!

PP, you said you saw one for 49.99 lb right?
That is the lowest anyone has posted here for a UK site, and who is that with?.. and is that a sale price for a certain time limit?

If so, than ideally we need someone who will do better than that - if the $49.99 is their routine charge.  I have found another UK retailer - private - and I am emailing him now.

Myself, I have found one in Canada for $45.00 as the lowest. I am going to call them today in case that goes off - have to see.

Alright I am going to bed now, been up half the night!  See what another day brings, its the long week-end here too!

Well, so far these people don’t seem to stray to far from their routine sale prices....I’ve heard back from another dealer, who will do $49.99 GBP* - which is the same as the $56."” bundles - because the extras in those packages really only take up about the $6 - so, not really any different in value.

I will try to see if they will go down more. You never know! smile

*PS - I am using my dollar sign in place of your pound sign above.
