hehehehe !  That got your attention !

I see on your latest Tilda card you mention that you “paper pierced” her dress/top.  Can you please tell me how you did this ?  I have seen it mentioned somewhere else that it is a good way to use up small pieces of paper left over which are pretty but I would have no idea where to start. Could you give me some of your wisdom ?!!

Thank’s so much.

*giggle*

Thank you for that hun, really made me chuckle!

Paper piecing is a really simple technique, and as you say, brilliant for using up those ever mounting small scraps of paper.

Using this Tilda ATC as an example:

2477605772_32716a5823.jpg

I just stamped the Tilda image onto a white piece of card, then stamped it again onto the spotty paper.  Then I just cut around the part of the stamp I wanted, in this case, Tilda’s top and stuck it onto the matching area on the white card. grin

You can of course do the whole outfit/hair/accessories etc in such a way, but I just kept it quick and simple with the example.

Does this make any sense?  It’s kinda like the ol’ paper dolls thing.

Thank’s so much Jules, sounds so easy to do.  I will have a go at it.

I think I have mentioned it on your other thread, but your work is fabulous, a real inspiration.

Thank’s for helping me !

Great card Jules. If I have printed a download I print two or three pics and then cut the sections out of the plain printed image and stick in reverse on the back of the patterned paper I want to use, then cut it out and attach it to the image..

No problem everyone.  If you do a search for paper piecing you may find better tutorials than this quick one red face
