Yes I am - cards and beads.  And I love my Craft Robo, I just did an entry for the tattoo challenge with it.  WHen I got it in January I found a very useful Yahoo group for the Wishblade and Craft Robo that got me up and cutting in no time, with lots of tutorials and free files and oodles of experience.

I have to say I use it for welded words more than anything and at the time the cricut just wasn’t offering anything like that - but I think you can do that now if you pay extra and stick to the fonts that you have bought.

I also use it for single letters in a variety of fonts which is dead easy as I have die cutters but no alphabets.

Mine just collects dust next to my computer.  I do use it from time to time, used it for some welded letters for a box a few weeks ago.

Thanks Cazzy I dont feel so guilty ! It was quite an expense to sit and collect dust. My prob is that I craft up in the attic and the computer is in the dining room...... hubby did mention something about keeping fit !!!! The cheek !! I think much as it pains me to do so , I think I am going to have to try to sell on Ebay or something . Might just stick to my Bigshot instead confused

I have a Craft Robo and love it - when I get to use it! Unfortunately I share it with my Mum, who lives in France, and she keeps it over there ( was going to move over there, but then got engaged so not going now....).  The original software was a nightmare to use, but the new Design Master software is great. A bit complicated, perhaps, but sooooooo versatile.

Having said that, because mine is abroad, I’m thinking of buying a Cricut Expression, because I do like the idea of not having to reinvent the wheel, and since I can’t draw to save my life it would be great to have access to the cricut cartridges. Does anyone know if you can actually design or import your own shapes for the Expression or are you limited to playing round with the shapes on the cartridges? I wouldn’t like to lose this flexibility, as some of the templates availabe for the Robo online are FAB!

I got one from QVC on the July Craft Day, I am still trying to get used to it, but I’m loving the designs and stuff on the computer and seeing what they look like on computer paper.  My Sister-in-law is a little envious of me, as she does scrapbooking and would like one too.  I need to find a small table for it though as all the hairs from my carpet stick to the page guide thing.

To my knowledge there is a design bundle which can link your Cricut expression to your PC so that will give you the same possibilities as the Craft Robo ie welding words and doing your own designs. You buy it separately around £60-ish .... hope thats of use to you.

I looked for the Robo lite but could not find it so have got a regular Robo on order and hoping it will arrive today or tomorrow.  I am a bit apprehensive as I think it will take a lot of getting used to but can’t wait to have a go! smile
