Sorry, i do not have one and not sure that i would do. They are ongoing projects and take quite a of time. I do like them to look at though, very intruiging they are. Most pewople have given you some great help and advice x
I have on that my grandad hand made me when i was a baby, its beautiful and it even has working lights to! And lovely little carpets, and a staircase.... oh the list goes on hehe.
I have so many ideas what to do with mine, just need to sit down and write it all down and then decide what i need to get.
Your right Sequin it is on going but i like that, building it up over the years, and adding things as i go.
The trouble is, I would make a start but it is where to leave it out once I start without it getting knocked over by children, animals or husband...thts my excuse and I am sticking to it..
It is sitting pretty on the top of a book shelf, big book shelf! till i have some spare money to do it up! it is nearly my birthday so i might get some things then.
I have a doll house! I love mine. It’s so fun to decorate and make little trinkets for it. Did you know you can even buy tiny little working Christmas lights to put on them??? Just so many cool doll house items out there!
I had a really nice doll house (Colonial) that my Dad made when I was growing up. The last time I had seen it was when I was around 12 years old. I wish I still had it, my Mom said she regrets selling it at a garage sale she had.
I might have my DH make me one someday to put in the basement for me to decorate and hopefully will someday have a grand daughter to play with it.
My dad made a dolls house a few years ago for my birthday. I have decorated in victorian style, the best way is to get lots of books about victorian deco from the library, I also found the best place to buy items if from the Doll Emporium they have a website and will send you a free catalouge with lots of ideas in. Hope this helps
