Hi! Its in 4ply, the pattern said fingering or sportweight so I had to guess.
& it’s for ME
but it is a pattern I feel I could knit again fairly soon & that’s very rare.

looking at that shawl reminds me of my mum bless her. Back in 1961 she knitted a 2ply shawl for my aunt who was expecting, poor mum had to knit another one as my aunt gave birth to twins ! lol this was in the days before scans, my aunt didn’t know it was twins until the first one was born then they realised there was another baby there.
My mum nearly had twins ! having to knit another shawl
