I am a Needle felfting nut
There was no topic I could see for it so I posted a new one : )
You may have seen the Crafts Beautiful demonstration on you tube but if you haven’t it is a technique where you sculpt with wool (unspun) wooltop, using a barbed needle to form the shape desired. You can see examples of my Animals and bears on my Gallery page and commission page in my website
attached is a picture of a recent commission Flynn the Cairn Terrier : )

That is so cool! I think I saw something similar on the Martha Stewart show once.
Not like this though. I love it!

I have only heard of it recently, and also saw the method as a way of joining felted piece together - such as felt flowers cut with a cuttlebug onto a bag

That dog is fabulous - you are very clever

I love needle felting. Somewhere I have a lovely fluffy woolly sheep. I’ll try and find him to show you! He started off looking like a cloud…

Hi Julie,
What a wonderful little dog. I have got the bits to have a go but have only done wet felt before so am unsure where to start with this.
I look forward to seeing some more of your gorgeous and inspirational felt creations. cheese

Thanks again to kind comments, Zheena check out the youtube video it will show you where to start, My cairn terrier is not on a pipecleaner skeleton though. it really is only your imagination that limits what you can do with it, i have seen vases, huge dragons and more.  This is a bear i have on ebay I made his honey pot from polymer clay.
