Crafts Beautiful - Quick & Crafty - Let's Make Cards Magazine

Hello Everyone!

My husband came home last night after being at work and having been to see his Dad and Step Mum! Paul pulled out A5 size small catalogue titled “Kaleidescope”, from his laptop bag, and placed it i front of me on the dining table and siad to me “Becky said to choose £50 worth of cardmaking materials. it’s for your birthday!” I was like, “WHAAAAAAT? She’s mad! She’s crazy! £50 worth!”. So anyway, I had a good look through it and have already chosen my bits and pieces. In the brochure was all sorts and it has one of those sets of a Baby Shoe and box template (like what Jules has on her Blog) and a Handbag and shoe template card sets, so going to go for one of them. Thinking, i may go for the Baby shoe one though to give to our new arrival.

Well, I just couldn’t get over the fact I wa askd to choose £50 worth of cardmaking supplies! But managed to choose materials totallig £48!

I was, but seems like a lot to spend on a gift! But my step mother in law is a “won’t take no for answer” lady! she is very generous when it comes to birthdays etc.

I’m looking forward to seeing your creations.  Interested to see the template too, as I kind of fumble along adapting one I found years ago on the internet and I just make my own boxes.

my birthday not till end of march so something to look forward to really. but before my birthday it’s our 1st year wedding anniversary....seems weird to say that as feels like yesterday we got married

oh you lucky duck!! wasn’t that a lovely surprise? wow ..thinks* dang talk about being put under pressure! lol I would be turning every page saying “I want that” “That too” “mmm yeah that” then end up confusing myself with the choice!lol
