Yikes!!!!!!!!!!! cazzy shame on you LOL

Well she was pleased!  I might have to buy some more!  I have a rotary trimmer with all the blade but I don’t think you can do the butterflies with that!

Hi Cazzy,
Butterflies look fine with plain scissors, but if you need the frilly look - its time to free the pixies!
I had some cheap fancy edge scissors - they just chewed the paper, now I use a Fiskars deckle edge pair and they are much much better. Don’t think they were all that expensive either.

Sold my first card today, and it had a butterfly flutterby on it. Like some of you, my first attempts were, how can I say, a bit wrong-way roundish. I was very pleased with the finished card and would love to get your opinions, but haven’t yet figured out how to put them on the forum. I’m still a bit of a computer thickie, but I promise I will soon get the knowledge from somewhere.

Huge congratulations on selling your first card today hunny, you must be so chuffed (and rightfully so).

I love the look of the butterfly flutterby, but just couldn’t “get” it so gave up!

Shame you can’t share your creation with us.  Can I help in anyway?

At last! I’ve got my butterflies a home on a card I made today.
Butterfly flutterby has much to answer for!
However, I’m sure I will use them many times as I lerve butterfly cards.
Origami paper got a try today too and it folds well for these tight concertina folds.

You card is just fantastic, paperkate. Really, really great and impressive job.

Lovely card, I’m glad so many people enjoyed this project.

Devonbunny- I’m sorry you had trouble getting to grips with this one, is there anything we can help with?

Thank you for all your kind comments.
I have so enjoyed working out how to make it go and it has so many ways of using the butterflies I love it.
So sorry you can’t get the folding game Devonbunny, but you seem to have so many wonderful crafting skills I’m sure you could really. Maybe not enough hours in the day?
