Join Creative Hands in a wonderful charity auction and social night. Member of staff, Grace, along with regular customer and cancer survivor, Jean, are taking part in Cancer Research's Race for Life, and proceeds from the evening will help boost their sponsorship.
Donate any unwanted crafty goodies, new or used, tools or materials – it's for a brilliant cause. “We all know someone that has been touched by the illness, and this is about doing our little bit to help,” says organiser Jayne Read. “Everyone has a stash of things they never use, so this is a great opportunity to give it to someone else who will. We like to think of it as, Creative Hands does changing hands, and it’s a ways of recycling, too!”
This grand event takes place at 7pm on June 16th, at the Corus Social Club on South Avenue in Dormanstown, Redcar. Tickets are £2.50 and include a pie and pea supper, plus free entry into a raffle to win a die cutting system. There’s also a general knowledge quiz, and of course, the big crafty sale.
