Creative Kids
Keep your kids entertained this summer by enrolling them in a fab jewellery making course
There’s nothing more satisfying than wearing sparkly accessories that you’ve created yourself. And what better time to get your kids in on this engaging hobby than in the summer holidays?
Every Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 1pm throughout the summer, top jewellery and bead company, Shiney Rocks, is running a series of kids jewellery making classes, teaching them how to create everything from necklaces, bracelets and earrings, to phone charms, bag charms, bookmarks and rings in a variety of styles. Techniques covered include stringing, pin-work, wire work, beading and much more. There's a fabulous selection of gems to choose from and for just £18.50 per session with all beads and materials included, you get to keep what you make.
The Wednesday classes are for the 8+ age group, whereas on Friday it’s the over 12s turn. Classes are held in Shiney Rock’s shop in the city of Bath. To find out more and to reserve your place, call 01225 332 506, or visit www.shineyrocks.co.uk
