Chocolate Dreams
Confectionery – with a twist!
If the chocolates you can see on the right-hand side of the screen are making your mouth water, then it might surprise you to know that these deliciously tempting treats are most definitely not to be eaten. Look a little closer, and you’ll notice that these creamy-looking concoctions are actually made from paper!
And the good news is Squires Kitchen’s International School are inviting you to join quilling expert, Diane Boden Crane, on a one-day course to learn the basic rolling and shaping techniques used in quilling, so you’ll be able to make the various chocolate shapes for yourself.
You’ll also learn additional decorative techniques, including how to spiral narrow strips of paper around a wire. Each chocolate will be decorated using a different effect to create a delicious collection, and will be presented on a blank chocolate box – the perfect gift for any chocoholic!
The course will be held on Saturday 19th April at Squires Kitchen International School, in Farnham, Surrey – the largest Independent School of Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft in the UK.
Book online at www.squiresschool.co.uk or call 0845 22 55 671/2 and ask to speak to the course co-ordinator.
