  • Ink-pad, black
  • Embossing powders: clear, white
  • Texture sheet
  • Ribbon, grosgrain, wide, red
  • Adhesives
instructions
  1. Car Greeting - 1 Trim white card, 12cm x 24cm, and lay horizontally. Score a vertical line 6cm in from each side and fold inwards to create a gatefold blank. Cover both front panels with dot paper, then layer mint green and navy card on top.

2 Stamp a car image onto white card using black ink, then clear emboss. Create a mask by stamping a second image onto a Post-it note and cutting out the car, including the inside of the tyres.

3 Add the mask to the stamped image and lay a net texture sheet over the top. Sponge red ink to the bottom of the image and blend yellow from the top downwards, creating an orange shade where the colours overlap.

4 Stamp and clear emboss a Father’s Day message onto white paper using black ink, then trim to 12cm square. Add a little colour to the background using the texture sheet and stick to the inside of the card. Mount the stamped image onto red and stick to the left panel of the gatefold using foam pads.

  2. Alternative Card - 1 Cover a blank, 12cm square, with navy card. Matt and layer patterned paper and green card onto the centre. Stamp a car image onto beige and emboss with white powder. Trim and mount onto red.

2 Attach wide red grosgrain ribbon down the centre of the blank, securing the ends on the back and inside. Score a horizontal line 3cm down from the top of the back of the card, stick double-sided tape to the small area at the top and
close the card. Fix the stamped image to the centre of the card using 3-D foam pads.
