Impress your friends with Niki Rowland's beach-ready quilling

What you need...

• Quilling strips, assorted colours
  
• Quilling tool
  
• Stamp, sanded
  
• Ink-pads, brown
  
• Card, white, yellow, brown
  
• Patterned paper: orange, turquoise
  
• Punches, Stampin' Up!: Word Window, Modern Label,
  
• Flower Soft or sand
  
• Ribbon, pink

instructions

1. 1 - Cut three white 5cm squares and mount each onto a brown one. Following the downloadable pattern in the August 2012 pack, coil beige, pink and green quilling strips, pinch into shape and stick down. Add Flower Soft or and around the quilled shapes.

2. 2 - Print a sanded stamp over yellow card, 9.5cm x 20cm. Add pink ribbon across the bottom, tying in a bow on the left side. Fix the three squares to the front; raise the middle one up with 3-D foam pads.

3. 3 - Stamp the sentiment onto white card and cut out using a Word Window punch. Trim brown card with the Modern Label punch, then stick to the sentiment panel. Add over the ribbon, as shown, then fix the entire design to a blank, 10cm x 21cm.
