    22 sts x 15 rows in patt = 10cm square with 3mm crochet hook

    NEEDLES
    21sts over 32 rows = 10cm square with stocking stitch on 3.25mm needles

  6. Lace (Make Two) - With 3.25mm dpns and yarn A, cast on two sts

    Next row: * without turning work, and RS facing, slide sts to other end of needle and, pulling the yarn from the LH side of the sts to the right across the back, k1 tbl, k1 *
    Rep from * to *, remembering to pull yarn tightly across the back and always working a k row until cord meas 40cm from beg
    Cast off

  7. To Make Up - Weave in all ends. Sew sole, heel and centre back seam on each shoe. On inside of each shoe, sew side edges of tongue to underside of shoe sides for about 0.5cm. Thread a lace through eyelets of each shoe, following photograph for guidance, and tie in a bow to secure.
