Card & Tag
1 Take a card blank and cover with patterned paper. Trim a slightly smaller rectangle in contrasting toasty dotty paper. Attach a strip of ribbon down the left side of the card. You now have your complete background.
2 Cut a stocking shape out of card and select some ribbon. Trim into strips, then mount onto the stocking, using the red spot fabric for the toe. Trim the strips to create a smooth edge, attach stocking to card front at an angle.
3 Finally place the buttons so they look like they are tumbling out of the stocking top. Position a green heart button on the stocking toe.

Top Tips
To avoid any of the white card showing through your ribbon strips, firstly cover your stocking template with red and cream mini check fabric
