Favour Bags
Take a selection of sequins and a plain organza gift bag in a coordinating shade. Stitch the sequins across the front of the bag in three horizontal lines at equal intervals.
Knot pink stranded thread at one end, then feed on a big multifaceted bead, a sequin, then a smaller gem or a selection of sparkly stones. To finish, secure the string of beads around the knot on one of the gift bag cords using a slip knot to fasten, as shown.

Top Tips
Always add a small dab of PVA adhesive to knotted cords. It will dry clearly and give the attractive effect of loosely tied strands
